TCS Digital Solutions, formerly Trojan Color Systems, a manufacturer and systems integrator of digital color label printing and finishing systems, has announced the delivery of TrojanLabel’s production class, Memjet-based Trojan T2-C printer.

The T2-C printer lowers ink costs and increases ink durability by using the advanced Niagara ink set. The ink set and printhead combination doubles printhead life. TrojanLabel has redesigned the print engine to automatically clean the printhead during print runs, thus increasing run length and print quality.

Ink consumption is reduced, therefore lowering the cost of operations. Water resistance and UV light fastness are significantly improved. Ink is provided in large 2-liter tanks for long runs and lower cost per image.

The T2-C printer delivers high-end commercial grade printing in a compact size, only four square feet. The T2-C uses a dynamic web guide with servo-controlled media tension to deliver precision registration and perfectly finished rolls.

The T2-C features print speeds of 60 fpm. It has an aerosol extraction system to improve image quality, as well.

The T2-C has the same live remote support capabilities that TCS Digital Solutions’ customers have grown to expect. The company provides a large selection of pressure sensitive paper and films, including tag stock with two-sided printing.
